the monkey chicken short film i made has been submitted to a few film festivals recently and as such it was invited to be included on imdb, the internet movie database. it now has its own page and you can watch the full film there too. give it a rating too if you like

the short film i made called monkey chicken is being shown again at another film night in london. it is at the crown and two chairmen on dean street in soho in london on sunday 1st november. it starts at 7.30pm and ends about 10pm. come and watch it, and the other films too, if you are around

the other month i submitted my big jack plug and modified distortion box as a proposal for the
artsway gallery 2009 open exhibition and – i got selected !

so if you are in the sway area near southampton between the 21st november and the 24th january come and have a look at it and interact with it to make some really loud noises. further details from the artsway website via the link thing above

the a thing about machines festival went very nicely and the ‘enlarged jack plug mains hum instrument and rehoused effect box amalgamation, yes’ performed its racket making task extremely well. many thanks to everyone who attended and special thanks to cormac faulkner the festival organiser. click on the images below to have a look, click on the words to make a big picture.

the monkey chicken short film video piece thing i made which you can see on the video page will be shown at the next exploding cinema event at the cross kings bar in kings cross in london on friday 18th september. come down and have a look and see it on a big screen with plenty loudness. i think it costs a fiver to get in, check their website thing though.

if you are near coventry from the 24th to the 27th of september then come along to the thing about machines art festival in various venues in the city. my massive jack plug and distortion box amalgamation piece will be on display there for you to have a look at and make a big racket with. i will be there too for a bit so come and say hello and talk a bit. here is a linky :

after plenty editing of sounds and film stuff i have finished a short film of the piece that i made for the degree show – have a look on the video page
i made it partly for my own amusement but also to include on some applications to try and get the piece displayed in other galleries and exhibitions, rather than having it taking up space at home

all went pretty good and the thing actually worked properly for the entire 5 day show. many thanks and all that for however helped and gave me guidance along the way. thanks also to everyone who came along. im going to sort out some noisy little film thing of the whole event soonish

‘necessary descriptive term for large item made of materials and sound (i didn’t want to call it untitled)’ is now disassembled and i am looking for somewhere to put it next

now i might make some music and try and find some studio space or something to make some more sonic art stuff
