i spent most of january in sri lanka collecting field recordings on tape, minidisc and video. i also decided to take the opportunity to make a short film/homage/reinterpretation of the music of 80’s supergroup duran duran. the resulting film was made on the historic landmark of sigiriya, where the group originally filmed some of the video to save a prayer. it can be seen on youtube and also on the video page
