music, art and pissing about since 1996

all went pretty good and the thing actually worked properly for the entire 5 day show. many thanks and all that for however helped and gave me guidance along the way. thanks also to everyone who came along. im going to sort out some noisy little film thing of the whole event soonish

‘necessary descriptive term for large item made of materials and sound (i didn’t want to call it untitled)’ is now disassembled and i am looking for somewhere to put it next

now i might make some music and try and find some studio space or something to make some more sonic art stuff

spent the best part of the last year making this.
it is a fairly massive six square metres and contains a computer and electronics and sensors and things.
it will be on display at the truman brewery down brick lane from the 4th to the 8th june.
it plays sounds in relation to how far or near you are to it.
it can play up to six sounds at once therefore making a fair bit of a cacophony.
most of the sounds are bits from well known pop songs, some not so well known.
come down and have a look.

my current news is that i am almost finished a three year degree in sonic art at middlesex university. the degree show is at the truman brewery down brick lane. i’m trying to finish off my big interactive installation and am pretty stressed about it what with doing all the essays and suchlike. also there is the sound in context video piece i have made as well, called ‘monkey chicken’, its latest (pretty much final) incarnation is on the sound art and filmy page.
